Liverpool are thinking about offering young winger Ben Doak to Crystal Palace as part of a deal to sign defender Marc Guéhi.
Doak, 19, played on loan at Middlesbrough last season, scoring three goals and making seven assists in 24 games. Crystal Palace tried to buy him in January for £15 million, but Liverpool said no, asking for around £30 million instead. Everton are also said to be interested in Doak.
Liverpool Want Guéhi
Liverpool are trying to sign Marc Guéhi as a possible replacement if Ibrahima Konaté leaves. Talks between Liverpool and Guéhi’s team have gone well, and the player has agreed to move to Anfield with a contract until 2030. However, Liverpool and Crystal Palace have not yet agreed on a price.
Guéhi has told Palace he won’t sign a new contract. His current deal ends next year. Liverpool are ready to pay around £30–35 million, but Palace want closer to £50 million for their captain.
