The English Premier League’s winter transfer window came to a close at midnight on February 1st. Here are some of the deals that went down on deadline day:
German defender, Shkodran Mustafi had his contract with Arsenal terminated mutually, allowing him to join German side, Schalke 04 on a free transfer.
England’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles moved onloan until the end of the 2020/21 season from Arsenal to West Bromwich Albion. West Brom also brought in Turkish midfielder, Okay Yokuslu from Spanish La Liga side, Celta Vigo.
Arsenal’s Joe Willock joined fellow English side, Newcastle United on a loan deal until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Liverpool secured English centre back, Ben Davies from Championship side, Preston North End on a long term deal for around £2 Million. Liverpool also secured a loan with an option to buy for £20 Million for 20 year old Schalke 04 defender, Ozan Kabak.
Southampton secured the services of Liverpool’s Japanese forward, Takumi Minamino on loan until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Former Sunderland striker, Josh Maja has signed for Fulham on a loan deal from French side, Girondins de Bordeaux.
Norwegian, Joshua King finally got his move back to the Premier League as he joined Everton on loan from AFC Bournemouth. Bournemouth secured a deal for his replacement, with Shane Long joining on loan from Southampton.
