Plateau United scored twice in the last minutes, first through utility player, Mohammed Zulkifilu in the 82nd minute, and the same player scored a penalty in the 95th minute.
Abia Warriors thrashed Kano Pillars 4-1 at the Okigwe Township Stadium. Godwin Obaje gave the Umuahia Landlords the lead before Obioma Chukwuemeka added a second shortly after. Pillars pulled one back through Nyima Nwagua before the break. The second half resumed with the pummeling of the visitors, as Obioma Chukwuemeka added his second goal, and Daniel Wotlai scored to seal the 4-1 win and take Abia Warriors up to 10th.
