Luca Toni puts Juventus Coppa Italia loss on Cristiano Ronaldo, says he couldn’t dribble

Juventus flop and World Cup winner with Gli Azzurri, Luca Toni has blamed The Old Lady’s loss in the Coppa Italia on Cristiano Ronaldo.

Juventus lost the Coppa Italia final 4-2 on penalty shootout to Napoli on Wednesday and the former Bayern Munich striker said Cristiano Ronaldo has to take the most of blame.

Cristiano Ronaldo who was supposed to play the last penalty for Juventus didn’t get to play his own after misses from Paulo Dybala and Danillo condemned Juventus to a 4-2 loss against Napoli.

And Luca Toni who scored just 2 league goals in 14 league games during his spell at Juventus argued that Cristiano Ronaldo was so useless that he couldn’t even dribble a player.

“It’s a defeat that also bears the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo,” he told Rai Uno.

“The Portuguese is in difficulty physically and he can’t even dribble a man.”
