Luis Enrique Reveals PSG’s Plan to Beat Arsenal in Champions League Clash
Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has shared what his team needs to do to beat Arsenal when both sides meet in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday night.
The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium in London, where Arsenal will host PSG in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
Both teams impressed in the quarter-finals, with Arsenal eliminating Aston Villa and PSG knocking out Real Madrid to book their places in the last four.
Speaking to the media ahead of the clash, Enrique said his players must handle different stages of the match carefully if they want to win against Mikel Arteta’s side.
“The key to the game will be how we manage different parts of the game,” Enrique said.
“We need to be in control of all the different elements — that will be the most important.”
The Spanish coach added that every player in his squad will play a key role, noting the similarities between the two teams.
“I think that all players are important in a squad. No one knows what will happen tomorrow, but I think PSG and Arsenal are very similar teams,” he added.
The last time Arsenal and PSG met was in the group stage last year, with Arsenal winning that game 2-0.
The upcoming semi-final will be another big test for both teams as they aim to reach the Champions League final.
