Luka Doncic sets NBA Playoffs record as Mavs beat Clippers to tie series

Luka Doncic has put his name on a unique list after helping Dallas Mavericks to a 127-114 win against LA Clippers on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old guard was unstoppable as he leads Dallas Mavericks to a win in the game two of their first round playoff clash in Orlando.

Doncic’s 28 points in 28 minutes was well supported by 23 and 17 from Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway respectively as Dallas tied the series 1-1.

His 28 points in game two brings his total to 70 points, the most points of any player through their first 2 career playoff games in NBA history (Post NBA/ABA Merger (1976).

69 – Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1970)
67 – Chris Paul (2008)
65 – Bob Lanier (1974)

In the other Playoffs games, Celtics beat Sixers 128-101 to increase their series lead 2-0.

Reigning champs Raptors beat Brooklyn Nets 104-99 to take a 2-0 series lead while Utah Jazz beat Nuggets 124-105 to tie their series 1-1.

Tonight, Lakers and Blazers (0-1), Magic and Bucks (1-0), OKC and Rockets (0-1) and Pacers and Heat (0-1) would go at it again
