Romelu Lukaku is very close to having the same records that Ronaldo de Lima had during his first season at Inter Milan.
The Belgian big man scored two goals on Monday in Inter Milan 5-0 Europa League semifinal win against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Lukaku scored his 32nd and 33rd of the season one goal shy of what Ronaldo de Lima scored in his first season for Inter Milan in the 1998-1999 season.
With just one game to the end of the season which is an Europa League final match against Sevilla, Lukaku in his first season could finish with an identical record as Ronaldo de Lima during his first season at Inter.
If he scores one more goal and win the Europa League (which is the same as the UEFA Cup) he could have the same record as Ronaldo who also scored 34 goals and won the UEFA Cup in his debut season.
Ronaldo scored 3️⃣4️⃣ goals in his debut season at Inter 👑
Lukaku is on 3️⃣3️⃣ 👏
