Manchester City crushed Juventus 5-2 to finish top of Group G at the Club World Cup, becoming the only team to win all three group matches.
City went into the game level on points with Juventus, but their quality shone through. The result confirms City as group winners and gives them a potentially easier match in the last 16.
Jeremy Doku scored the first goal, and although Juventus briefly equalised through Teun Koopmeiners after a mistake from Ederson, City quickly pulled away. A bizarre own goal from Pierre Kalulu made it 2-1 before half-time.
Erling Haaland came off the bench and made an instant impact, scoring his 300th career goal and then setting up Phil Foden. Savinho added a brilliant fifth goal, while Dusan Vlahovic scored a late consolation for Juventus.
The big win means City will now face one of the runners-up from Group H – either Real Madrid, Red Bull Salzburg or Al Hilal – in the knockout stage on Monday.
