Nigerian striker only behind Lukaku and Ronaldo on scorers' chart
Crotone striker Simy Nwankwo scored a brace for his side as they secured a hard-fought 4-3 win away from home against Parma in their Serie A encounter on Saturday.
Simy scored his first goal in the 42nd minute to make it 2-1 to the away side before netting his second from the penalty spot in the 69th minute to make it 4-3 and secure the three points for his side against Parma.
Simy has now scored 19 Serie A goals this season, only Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku have scored more. He has now scored the outright most goals ever by a Nigerian in any of Europe’s top 5 leagues in a single season.
