Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said that Marcus Rashford might still have a future in the Premier League.
Rashford left United in January to join Aston Villa on loan and is expected to leave the club permanently this summer. The England forward was dropped from the squad by Amorim in December as part of plans to rebuild the team.
But ahead of United’s Premier League match against Bournemouth on Sunday, Amorim told reporters that nothing has been decided yet.
“All the players on loan will return, and then the club will decide what to do at the end of the season,” Amorim said.
“When you loan out a player, the best thing is for them to perform well. All these players have talent, and they need to show it with their loan clubs.”
Rashford is one of several United players currently out on loan, including Jadon Sancho at Chelsea, Antony at Real Betis, and Tyrell Malacia at PSV Eindhoven.
It remains to be seen whether Rashford will return to Old Trafford or move on permanently in the summer.
