Manchester United named as ideal club for Victor Osimhen

With Victor Osimhen set to leave Napoli this summer, Former Italian player and manager Fabrizio Ravanelli has named Manchester United as the Ideal club for the Nigerian forward.

Ravanelli mentioned Manchester United as a potential suitable club for Osimhen, despite the team facing challenges at the moment. Additionally, he suggested that Chelsea and Arsenal, both in need of a striker, could also be good fits for the Nigerian forward.

“Manchester United would be a good club for him, despite them being in a difficult moment. They would be the ideal team for Osimhen – Chelsea and Arsenal also need a striker like Osimhen, ” Fabrizio Ravenelli said on Mega Dice.

Ravanelli drew comparisons between Osimhen and Erling Haaland, acknowledging that while Osimhen might not be at Haaland’s level yet, he considers the Napoli striker to be a fantastic player.

Emmanuel Amuneke has stepped forward with explanation for his choice of Mo Salah and not his prodigy, Victor Osimhen for the CAF Player of the year award as potrayed in a trending video.
Victor Osimhen is the reigning CAF Men’s Player of the Year.

According to Ravanelli, Osimhen possesses a combination of strength and quality in the final third of the pitch, showcasing versatility in scoring goals with both feet and headers.

The former Italian international said Osimhen is a complete striker, hailing his status as one of the best in the world.

“Osimhen is very similar to [Erling] Haaland, although not quite up to his level just yet. But he is a fantastic player – very strong, with quality in the final third of the pitch.

“He scores goals in every way, with his right, his left and with headers. He is a complete striker, for me one of the best in the world.

Osimhen has scored eight goals in 18 appearances this season, and is currently representing Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
