Manchester United target Jack Grealish matches Neymar’s unique record in show against Chelsea

Manchester United long-term transfer target Jack Grealish matched a unique record held by Neymar this season in his show against Chelsea at the Villa Park.

The English midfielder ended on the losing side as his club, Aston Villa went down 2-1 to Chelsea after taking the lead.

Although it was not the result he and his relegation fighting teammates wanted, the 24-year-old midfielder gave his best, he was the player fouled for the free-kick that led to his side’s lone goal.

In fact, Jack Grealish was fouled 9 times, the most fouls on one player in a Premier League match this season. The last player to be fouled as many times was Wilfried Zaha vs Man Utd in May 2017 (10).

He also joined Neymar on an exclusive list becoming just the second player to be fouled 9+ times in a game in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
