Manu Garba rues missed chances vs Angola, vouched not to rest Golden Eaglets stars against Uganda

Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba has again complained about his boys poor finishing in their 1-0 win against Angola in their AFCON U-17 clash on Wednesday.

The Eaglets just as they did in their first game when they scored five against Tanzania wasted a number of chances against Angola.

Manu Garba who watched on as his boys squandered multiple chances claimed his boys would have scored 5-6 goals had they taken their chances.

“We missed a lot of chances, some of those misses were unpardonable,” lamented Manu Garba.

“We should have won 5-0 or 6-0 had we converted the many chances we created.

“We will continue to work on this shortcoming.”

Already qualified Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will play Uganda in their last group game on Saturday but Manu Garba has promised not to rest any of his stars.

“We won’t rest any player because we want to win all our matches here,” he maintained.
