Marsch Sacked As Leeds United Manager

Leeds United have sacked Jesse Marsch as manager following a poor run of form in the Premier League.

Marsch was in charge of the club for less than a year after replacing Marcelo Bielsa in last year.

The 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest sealed his fate.

He helped the club to avoid relegation on the last day of the season.

Leeds are in 17th on the Premier League log just a place above the relegation zone on goal difference.

The club also confirmed that every member of Marsch’s coaching crew will be leaving the club.

“We would like to thank Jesse and his backroom staff for their efforts and wish them well for the future.

“The process of appointing a new head coach is under way and we will continue to keep supporters up to date throughout the coming days.” Leeds United said in a statement.

Leeds United have only won four out of the 20 games in the Premier League, drawing six and losing 10.
