MATCH PREVIEW: Remo Stars FC vs MFM FC
Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) clash in another southwest derby against Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC (MFM FC) on Wednesday, 6th of February, 2019 as Kennedy Boboye’s side look to close the gap on the Group A table.
The host lost back to back in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) against Port Harcourt based Rivers United FC and southwest rival, Sunshine Stars FC.
Akuneto Chijioke scored a vital goal for the Olukoya Boys to give them all three points against Wikki Tourist in match day six in the NPFL played at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.
The victory took the Lagos based team to first position on the Group A standings with nine points from five NPFL games while the Sky Blue Stars are currently four points behind them.
Both sides have met numerous times in all competition but the Olukoya Boys have defeated the Sky Blue Stars 1-0 twice in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in 2017.
A win for the Sky Blue Stars would see them move up the table and put pressure on the teams ahead of them to keep their hopes alive.
