Maybe Juventus sold the wrong Pogba to Manchester United

This summer Manchester United paid the world record fee of £89m to sign one of their former trainees, Paul Pogba from Juventus.

A lot is expected from the young Frenchman, not because of his price tag but because of the potential and consecutive spectacular performances he produced during his stay at Juventus. So far, the expectations has not been met as the world record buy looked just like one of them players.

A look at his performance stats so far will propel you to want to further investigate if it was the right Pogba Manchester United shattered the world record fee to sign.

In his club’s 3-1 defeat to Watford he had 75% pass accuracy, 2 shots, 0 chances created, 0 take-ons, 0 interceptions and his previous games for Manchester United since his return hasn’t been better than the stats above.

His performances has brought about a multi-million pounds question; what if Juventus sold the wrong Pogba to Manchester United?

It is too early to say he is a flop and obviously he is the right Pogba but his performances so far betray our expectations and his antecedents, the world awaits the manifestation of the real Pogba. Paul needs to step up and show why Manchester United broke the transfer record to sign him.
