Meet 15-year-old Elia Balamwabo the best player at CAF U16 African School Cup
Elia Balamwabo is currently the most popular athlete in Africa right now after his pictures surfaced online.
The 15-year-old player became a famous man after he lead DR Congo U16 team to the 2022 CAF U16 African School title.
DR Congo defeated Senegal U16 team to claim the title and Elia Balamwabo who was the winning captain was also named the tournament’s most valuable player.
While the pictures of the Senegal U16 team actually looked like teenagers, there is nowhere in the world that DR Congo U16 men looks like teenagers.

The sad story of Africa football. The shout is because this too obvious but this practice of reducing 5-10years from age is still on they even put them on diet to the MRI test. Crazy but very true
This is cheating of the highest order. Football can never grow in un even playing ground. Where are the CAF doctors with their MRI results here to prove age cheating?

Please, we should stop deceiving ourselves. The DR Congo team is never even an under 20 team from the look of things, how can they be passed for under 16? They should be striped of the title.
