Davide Ancelotti is the son of famous Italian manager and former Italian player Carlo Ancelotti.
The 32-year-old is currently an assistant to his father who is the manager of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Davide reportedly achieved one of the highest scores in UEFA’s coaching course with a score of 137 out of 140 in UEFA’s B license and 13 out of 15 in UEFA’s A license.
During training sessions, Davide is reportedly said to be the one who shouts, not Carlo.
Anyone who goes to Valdebebas and sees them working will not know they are father and son. Their relationship on the field is very professional.
Davide said it was his job to research and investigate all of his father’s football tactics to get the best version of the players.
“My job as Real Madrid’s Assistant coach, on the bench is to make my father doubt and think.
“I’m not next to him just to say ‘yes, yes and yes’, I have his confidence to say ‘no, I disagree with you,’ even if he’s the one who makes the final decision.”
Davide is said to have been working with his father since 2013 whe he was just 24.
