Melo stars as Knicks beat Bulls, Rockets beat Clippers

The New York Knicks claimed a fourth straight NBA win, overcoming a tired Chicago Bulls 107-91 on Saturday.

Carmelo Anthony’s 27 points helped the Knicks to their victory against a Bulls team coming off a four-overtime game against the Detroit Pistons.

Joakim Noah had a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who are 15-9.

Arron Afflalo finished with 18 points for the Knicks.

The Houston Rockets were too good for the Los Angeles Clippers in a 107-97 victory.

Dwight Howard (22 points and 14 rebounds) and James Harden (18 points and 11 assists) had double-doubles.

Blake Griffin had 22 points for the Clippers, but his team were unable to recover after being outscored 38-17 in the first quarter.

Kobe Bryant was sidelined for the Los Angeles Lakers, who went down to the Oklahoma City Thunder 118-78.

Kevin Durant contributed 22 points for the Thunder.

John Wall’s 27 points and 12 assists saw the Washington Wizards past the Charlotte Hornets 109-101 and the Memphis Grizzlies claimed a 96-84 win against the Indiana Pacers.
