Metu double-double not enough as Bane leads Grizzlies past Kings
Desmond Bane and Grizzlies stole the day from Chimezie Metu and Sacramento Kings.
Chimezie Metu posted a double-double but was not enough as Desmond Bane 24 points game won it 124-105 for Grizzlies on Friday.
Metu, a Nigeria international and Bane, a Nigeria-born were both on from the start for their various teams.
Bane had 24 points, 2 rebounds and went 4-of-5 from trey in 26 minutes.
While Chimezie Metu had 11 rebounds, 18 points for his third career double-double.
He also had a steal and two blocks.

Memphis trailed 50-35 early in the second quarter, then outscored Sacramento 68-27 over the next 20 minutes.
