MFM FC v Abia Warriors: Can Olukoya Boys make it 100% home win without Fidelis Ilechukwu

By: Timothy Dehinbo

MFM FC would welcome Abia Warriors at the Agege Stadium in the Nigeria Professional Football League Match Day 16 on Wednesday without their head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu on the seat.

MFM FC whose 1-0 defeat on Sunday to Gombe United in the match day 15 which saw them drop to 2nd place on the log will be looking to get back into winning ways at the Agege Stadium today but without Coach Fidelis Ilechuckwu.

MFM FC are unbeaten in their last 7 games at home and would be many bookmakers’ favourite to win the game but without their headcoach on seat things might be different against a very strong Abia Warriors side who are unbeaten in five games.

Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu would be out of the tie as he is in Abuja for his CAF B Licence examination today.

The game would surely be an interesting one, as MFM FC are yet to drop any point at home this season, winning all 7, also, Abia Warriors are unbeaten in 5 league games with a record of 3W 2D and also 6th on the log, willing to move up on the table.

This match last season ended in a goalless draw at the Soccer Temple even with the presence of Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu.

Do you think his absence would swing the tie in favour of the visitors?

What do you think?
