Mikel Obi makes Chelsea FC return in 4-0 win over Bayern Munich

John Mikel Obi made a return to action for Chelsea FC in a charity game alongside other legends as the Blues defeated Bayern Munich legends 4-0.

The retired Nigerian footballer was named in the Chelsea FC legends starting XI by Champions League winning Coach Roberto Di Matteo and starred significantly in a comfortable win over Bayern Munich legends.

The Charity game on Saturday September 9, 2023 at Stamford Bridge was in tribute to the late Gianluca Vialli, with the Blues side posing with a photo alongside his iconic number nine shirt before kick-off.

Mikel Obi was joined in action by other Chelsea FC legends like John Terry, Petr Cech, Flourence Malouda, Gary Cahill, Ramirez, Micheal Essien, Gianfraco Zola and a host of others.

Mikel Obi’s fellow midfielder Micheal Essien fired Chelsea FC legends in front in the first half before legendary skipper John Terry added the second for the Blues.

Former English defender Gary Cahill added a third before Tiago bagged a fourth to seal a comfortable win for Chelsea FC legends in front of a charged Stamford Bridge crowd who were happy to see their legends back in action.
