Milwaukee Bucks bounce back with win over Spurs as Bulls continue perfect start to season

Timberwolves, Mavericks, Grizzlies all win

Champions Milwaukee Bucks recovered from a crushing defeat to Miami Heat last time out to pick up a 121-110 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the AT & T Centre.

Khris Middleton led the scoring for the Milwaukee Bucks with his tally of 28 points. He also contributed two rebounds and three assists to the cause. Giannis Antetokounmpo also tallied 21 points with eight rebounds and eight assists for the champions.

D’Tigers star Jordan Nwora made his third season appearance for the Milwaukee Bucks and contributed seven points, six rebounds and an assist.

Chicago Bulls kept their 100% record intact with their third win of the season as they defeated the Detroit Pistons 97-82. DeMar DeRozan contributed 21 points with six rebounds and six assists to lead the scoring, and Nikola Vucevic recorded a double-double with 15 points and 19 rebounds for the Bulls. D’Tigers hopeful Ayo Dosunmu contributed two points, three assists and a rebound for the Bulls.

Ja Morant led the scoring for the Memphis Grizzlies in their 120-114 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. The 22-year-old contributed 28 points with two rebounds and eight assists for the Grizzlies in the match.

Rookie Chris Duarte led the scoring for the Indiana Pacers in their 102-91 win over the Miami Heat. He contributed 19 points with five rebounds, and Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon also contributed double-doubles for the Pacers. D’Tigers ace Gabe Vincent contributed two points with three rebounds and three assists.

Dallas Mavericks defeated the Toronto Raptors 103-95, with Slovenian star Luka Doncic leading the scoring for them. Doncic contributed 27 points with 12 assists and nine rebounds, narrowly missing out on a triple-double. Precious Achiuwa recorded a double-double for the Raptors as he finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the scoring as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 96-89. Towns contributed 25 points for the team, with Anthony Edwards contributing a further 19. D’Tigers player Josh Okogie contributed five rebounds and three assists.

Portland Trail Blazers defeated last season’s runners-up, the Phoenix Suns, 134-105 in their NBA meeting. CJ McCollum led the scoring for the Trail Blazers with 28 points on the night.
