MLS Overtakes Saudi Pro League in New Rankings
Major League Soccer (MLS) has broken into the world’s top 10 leagues, while the Saudi Pro League has dropped to 36th in the latest Global Football Rankings.
According to the latest rankings, MLS earned an average rating of 79.3 to secure 10th place, while the Saudi Pro League finished 36th with a rating of 75.1.
The latest rankings have sparked fresh debate among football fans, particularly following the arrivals of global stars such as Lionel Messi in MLS and Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.
Some supporters have credited MLS’s continued growth and competitiveness for its rise into the top 10; others argued that the Saudi Pro League’s investment in elite players and clubs is not reflected in the latest standings.
