African stars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored two goal each in Liverpool’s 6-0 win over Leeds in a rearranged English Premier league match this evening.
Salah converted spot kicks in the 15th and 35th minute plus an assist for Matip’s 30th minute goal. Mane added gloss to the scoreline by adding the fourth and fifth in the 80th and 91st minute before Virgil Van Dirk capped the win with the sixth in the 93rd minute to send Liverpool within three points of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
After 26 Matchdays, City sit top of the standings with 63 points followed by Liverpool who have thus amassed 60 points. Chelsea and Manchester United complete the top four with 50 and 46 points respectively.
