Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool after emotional Farewell

Mohamed Salah will officially leave Liverpool F.C. after the club confirmed that Sunday’s match against Brentford F.C. will be his final game at Anfield.

Liverpool announced the news through a new documentary titled “Farewell To The King”, describing Salah’s departure as the end of a remarkable era at the club.

The Egyptian will end his remarkable Liverpool career this weekend,” the club wrote.

Salah leaves Liverpool after one of the greatest spells in the club’s modern history.

Since arriving from AS Roma in 2017, the Egyptian forward has scored 257 goals, becoming third on Liverpool’s all-time scoring list while helping the club win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Club World Cup and more.

The 32-year-old became one of the defining faces of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side, known for its “heavy metal football” style that dominated both England and Europe.

In a recent emotional message, Salah reflected on Liverpool’s rise during his time at the club.

“I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions,” Salah said.

“Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family.”

One line in particular immediately caught the attention of fans:

“I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.”

Liverpool supporters are now preparing emotional tributes for one of the club’s greatest-ever players, with farewell mosaics and celebrations expected during Sunday’s match at Anfield.

Salah’s departure marks the end of an unforgettable chapter in Liverpool history.
