Moisés Caicedo posts farewell message while Brighton yet to agree with any club
Is Moisés Caicedo Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea bound?
Moisés Caicedo has taken matters into his hands in other to force a move from Brighton & Hove Albion to another club this winter.
The combative midfielder who has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal is adamant about leaving The Seagulls.
This week, the Columbia midfielder sacked his former agents who orchestrated his move from Independiente del Valle to Brighton & Hove Albion in a bid to leave Brighton.
He has now taken the move to leave the club to a new level with the statement he released on his Twitter handle, begging the club’s chairman to let him go.
Here is the statement in part.
“I am grateful to Mr. Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them.
“I always play football with a smile and with heart. I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador.
“My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador. I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.
“The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.”🙌🏽🙏🏽
It is unclear where the 21-year-old is heading, Chelsea reportedly had a bid of £55m rejected last week, and Arsenal were said to have tabled a £60m fixed fee, no add-ons.
