Nigerian winger Moses Simon scored again as Nantes defeated FC Lorient 5-3 in the French Ligue 1, on Saturday, September 23.
Simon was on the scoresheet to help Nantes to a 0-1 win over Clermont Foot in their last game and was back among the goals for his club vs Lorient.
Before scoring the 5th goal, Nigerian International, Moses Simon provided assist for two goals in the eight-goal thriller.
Lorient FC took the lead through Junior in the 6th minute before Mathis Albine scored off a Moses Simon assist to level scores.
The home team took the lead through Comert in the 46th minute before Mohammed scored for 3-1. Visiting Lorient reduced the deficit to 3-2 in the 75th minute with a Favre goal as the goals rain continued .
Florent Mollet made it 4-2 in the 83rd minute off a Moses Simon assist. Lorient will score their third of the game for 4-3 to set-up a tensed finale.
Moses Simon did settle the tensed atmosphere when he scored from the penalty spot to cap another outstanding individual performance and a 5-3 win for Nantes.
Nantes have now won two consecutive games, to recover from a poor start to the campaign and move into the top half of the French Ligue 1, table.
