Moses Simon Set to Join Paris FC in €7 Million Deal

Newly promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC are set to make a major signing as they prepare for life in the French top flight. The club is closing in on a deal to bring in Nigerian winger Moses Simon from Nantes.

Simon has been a key player for Nantes since joining the club, with 37 goals and 42 assists in 201 appearances. The 29-year-old is coming off his best season yet, having scored eight goals and provided 10 assists in 32 Ligue 1 matches.

According to top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Super Eagles star has already completed his medical ahead of the move to Paris FC.

The deal will cost Paris FC €7 million, which is seen as a great bargain considering Simon’s quality and experience in French football. He is also expected to receive a big pay rise. While he earned around €38,000 a week at Nantes, his new deal will see him earn about €75,000 per week, his highest salary so far.

Simon will sign a three-year contract that runs until at least 2028. Both clubs are expected to officially announce the transfer soon.

Moses Simon is one of the most experienced players in the Nigerian national team. He has made 81 appearances for the Super Eagles and has scored 10 goals. His move to Paris FC adds much-needed experience and firepower to the club’s attack ahead of their first season back in Ligue 1.
