Moses Simon shines as Nantes wins big against Montpellier

Super Eagles winger Moses Simon finished the Ligue 1 season in great form by scoring a goal and giving an assist in FC Nantes’ 3-0 win over Montpellier.

This important home win helped Nantes avoid a relegation playoff. They ended the season in 13th place with 36 points from 34 games , just three points above the danger zone.

Simon scored the opening goal in the 8th minute from the penalty spot after he was fouled in the box. The referee didn’t give the penalty at first, but VAR checked and awarded it.

Simon had a strong season, scoring 8 goals and giving 10 assists in 32 league games, a big improvement from the 3 goals he scored last season.
