The semifinal game between Nigeria and Morocco was marred by various incidents ranging from VAR decisions to and use of laser lights.

Super Falcons had the light shone on them on different occasions, especially during the penalty shootout and this may have helped the hosts.

The other semifinal involving Zambia and South Africa was not without its controversy which was not addressed but CAF has come hard on Morocco over the use of laser light.

According to reports doing round, (CAF) has issued a stern warning to Morocco not to use laser light in tonight’s WAFCON Final against South Africa.
