Mourinho: Nigeria and Argentina will qualify from group D

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has picked the Albicelestes of Argentina and the Super Eagles of Nigeria to qualify from group D at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Portuguese convincingly picked the Super Eagles of Nigeria to follow Argentina out of the group ahead of European superpower Croatia and debutants, Iceland.

While predicting the 2018 world cup group winners and runners-up the former Madrid manager revealed that his selections would not be based on his emotions but would be contradicting because he wants his players to win and also wants them to go on holiday.

After picking Uruguay and Russia to qualify from group A, Spain, and Portugal to qualify from group B, France, and Australia to win group C. Jose Mourinho picked Argentina and Nigeria from group D.

“I think the little fellow will finish first.

“Wow, this one is going to be hard, but I go for an African team, Nigeria.”

Jose Mourinho picked Brazil, and Switzerland to win group E, Germany, and Mexico to win group F, England, and Belgium to win group G, Senegal, and Poland to qualify from group H.

If Jose Mourinho’s predictions come true, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be playing Les Bleus in the second round again having played them in 2014 World Cup in Brazil where France were lucky winners.

The ‘could be’ tie will give the Super Eagles an opportunity to take their pound of flesh against Les Bleus
