Naija Super 8: Lobi Stars FC join Akwa United FC in semi-final, Yobe Desert Stars , Rivers United Out

Lobi Stars FC defeated Akwa United FC 2-0 in their final Naija Super 8 group B clash to join the Promise Keepers in the semi-final while Yobe Desert Stars and Rivers United FC head home.

Joseph Atule scored both goals to lead Lobi Stars FC past Akwa United FC to take top spot in Group B with seven points.

Akwa United FC finished second with six points following wins over Yobe Desert Stars and Rivers United FC.

In the other group B game, Rivers United FC defeated Yobe Desert Stars 1-0 to take third spot with three points to the latter’s one point.

Both teams will head home from Lagos State, where the Naija Super 8 tournament is holding at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
