NBA Conference Semifinals: Jokic leads Nuggets into Western Conference Finals after win over Suns

Celtics force Game 7 against Philadelphia 76ers

Nikola Jokic was instrumental for the Denver Nuggets as they picked up a 125-100 win to secure a 4-2 win in the series against the Phoenix Suns. The result means the Nuggets qualify for the Western Conference Final for the second time in four seasons and the fifth time overall in their history. Jokic scored a triple-double of 32 points, ten rebounds and 12 assists for the Nuggets in the game, with Jamal Murray contributing 26 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scoring 21 points. Kevin Durant scored 23 points for the Suns, and Cameron Payne scored 31 points in the game.

Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 95-86 in their Game 6 meeting in the Eastern Conference semifinals to level the series at 3-3 and force a deciding Game 7. Marcus Smart led the scoring for the Celtics with 22 points and Jayson Tatum scored 19 points in the game after a slow start. Joel Embiid scored 26 points and ten rebounds for the Sixers, and Tyrese Maxey also added 26 points in the game.
