NBA Playoffs: Warriors rally to 2-0 lead, Heat win in OT

The Golden State Warriors moved a step closer to the Western Conference Finals in the NBA play-offs after winning game two against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The defending champions needed a 34-12 fourth quarter to seal a 110-99 victory at the Oracle Arena on Tuesday.

Still without reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry (knee), the Warriors hold a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semi-finals.

Klay Thompson again stepped up in Curry’s absence, finishing with a game-high 27 points for the Warriors.

Draymond Green had a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Andre Iguodala had 15 points off the bench.

Damian Lillard top-scored for the Trail Blazers with 25 points, while C.J. McCollum had 22.

The Miami Heat took their series opener against the Toronto Raptors courtesy of a 102-96 overtime win.

Kyle Lowry hit a buzzer-beater from half-court to send the game to OT, but the Heat were too strong at the Air Canada Centre.

Goran Dragic (26 points) and Dwyane Wade (24) combined to lead the Heat, with the latter scoring seven of his in overtime.

Game two of their Eastern Conference semi-final is in Toronto on Thursday.
