NBA Recap: Boston Celtics book playoff spot as Grizzlies defeat Warriors

76ers, Bulls, Kings, Raptors all secure wins

Boston Celtics became the third side to reach the NBA Playoffs this season despite a 118-117 loss to the Utah Jazz. The reigning Eastern Conference champions join the Milwaukee Bucks in the East and Denver Nuggets in the West as the first teams to reach the Playoffs. Lauri Markkanen led the scoring for the Jazz with 28 points and ten rebounds, and Talen Horton-Tucker scored 19 points as they moved up to tenth seed in the West. Jaylen Brown scored 25 points for the Celtics in the game.

Memphis Grizzlies won their final NBA regular season meeting with the Golden State Warriors by a 133-119 scoreline, improving to 43-27 in the league this season. Jaren Jackson Jr led the scoring for the Grizzlies with 31 points and Desmond Bane scored 26 points. Jonathan Kuminga scored 24 points for the Warriors in the game.

Philadelphia 76ers improved to 48-22 in the NBA after a 141-121 win over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey each tallied 31 points and seven assists for the Sixers. Jordan Nwora scored 13 points and nine rebounds for the Pacers in the game.

Chicago Bulls claimed a 113-99 win over the Miami Heat in the NBA on Saturday. DeMar DeRozan led the scoring with 24 points and ten assists, and Zach LaVine contributed 18 points in the game. Jimmy Butler scored 24 points for the Heat in the game.

Sacramento Kings held onto second place in the Western Conference following a 132-118 win over the Washington Wizards. Domantas Sabonis led the scoring with 30 points and ten assists, and Keegan Murray contributed 19 points in the game. Kyle Kuzma scored 33 points for the Wizards in the game.

Toronto Raptors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 122-107 to improve to 35-36 this season. Fred VanVleet led the scoring with 28 points and Pascal Siakam scored 27 points and ten rebounds in the game. Naz Reid scored 22 points for the Timberwolves in the game.
