NBA Recap: Bucks maintain perfect start to season as Lakers, Magic maintain 100% loss record

Jazz, Bulls, Raptors, Timberwolves all pick up vital wins

2021 NBA champions Milwaukee Bucks claimed their third win in three games this season as they defeated the Brooklyn Nets 110-99 to condemn them to a third defeat of the season. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the scoring for the Bucks with 43 points and 14 rebounds. Kevin Durant scored 33 points for the Nets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers handed the Orlando Magic a fifth loss of the NBA season as they claimed a 103-92 win. Evan Mobley led the scoring for the Cavs with 22 points as Jarrett Allen scored 18 points and 14 rebounds. Impressive rookie Paolo Banchero led all scorers in the game with 29 points for the Magic.

The Atlanta Hawks claimed a 118-113 win over the Detroit Pistons in their NBA clash. Trae Young led the scoring for his side with 35 points and Bojan Bogdanovic scored 33 points for the Pistons.

The New York Knicks claimed an important 134-131 OT win over the Charlotte Hornets in their NBA clash. Jalen Brunson led the scoring for the Knicks with 27 points and 13 assists, and RJ Barrett scored 22 points for the Knicks. Gordon Hayward scored 21 points for the Hornets.

The Toronto Raptors claimed a 119-109 win over the star-studded Philadelphia 76ers to condemn them to a fourth defeat in five games this season. Gary Trent Jr led the scoring with 27 points and Pascal Siakam contributed 20 points and 13 assists. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey each scored 31 points for the 76ers in the game.

The Chicago Bulls claimed a 124-109 win over the Indiana Pacers to claim their third win of the NBA season. Zach LaVine led the scoring for the Bulls with 28 points and DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points. Buddy Hield led the scoring for the Pacers with 25 points.

The Minnesota Timberwolves claimed an important 134-122 win over the San Antonio Spurs after a period of uncertainty in their season. Anthony Edwards led the scoring for the side with 34 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns scored 21 points. Keldon Johnson led the scoring for the Spurs with 27 points.

The Denver Nuggets claimed a 110-99 win over the Los Angeles Lakers to condemn them to a fourth successive loss in the NBA this season. Nikola Jokic led the scoring with 31 points and 13 rebounds in the game. Anthony Davis led the scoring for the Lakers with 22 points on the night.

Utah Jazz returned to winning ways with a 109-101 win over the Houston Rockets in their NBA clash. Lauri Markkanen led the scoring for the Jazz with 24 points and Jordan Clarkson scored 20 points. Kevin Porter Jr scored 24 for the Rockets in the game.

The Miami Heat claimed a 119-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers to hand them a first loss of the season in the NBA. Bam Adebayo led the scoring for the Heat with 18 points and Jimmy Butler scored 17 points. Damian Lillard led the scoring for the Trail Blazers with 22 points.
