NBA Recap: Impressive Lakers defeat Bucks as Nets, Heat claim big wins

Los Angeles Lakers continued their revival as they picked up a ninth win of the NBA season in their 133-129 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Anthony Davis led the scoring in the game with 44 points and ten rebounds, as LeBron James scored 28 points and 11 assists for the Lakers. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 40 points for the Bucks, who welcomed Khris Middleton back to action.

Brooklyn Nets picked up a 114-105 win over the Toronto Raptors to improve their record in the NBA to 13-11. Kyrie Irving led the scoring for the Nets with 27 points and Kevin Durant scored 17 points. Pascal Siakam scored 24 points for the Raptors.

Miami Heat secured a 120-116 OT win over the Boston Celtics in their NBA clash to improve to 11-12 this season. Bam Adebayo led the scoring with 28 points for the Heat while Tyler Herro scored 26 points to propel them to the win. Jaylen Brown had 37 points and 14 rebounds for the Celtics.

Cleveland Cavaliers picked up a 15th win of an impressive season in the NBA as they defeated the Orlando Magic 107-96. Donovan Mitchell led the scoring with 34 points while Evan Mobley contributed 19 points and 13 rebounds in the game. Paolo Banchero scored 22 points for the Magic as they lost.

Atlanta Hawks won for the 13th time this season as they defeated the Denver Nuggets 117-109. Dejounte Murray led the scoring with 34 points and AJ Griffin scored 24 points for the Hawks. Nikola Jokic had 24 points and ten rebounds for the Nuggets.

Charlotte Hornets edged the Washington Wizards to claim a 117-116 win in their NBA clash on Friday. Terry Rozier led the scoring with 25 points and Kelly Oubre Jr scored 22 points for the Hornets. Bradley Beal scored 33 points for the Wizards in the game.

Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 117-109 to pick up their 13th win of the season. Ja Morant led the scoring with 28 points and Jaren Jackson Jr scored 22 points. Joel Embiid scored 35 points and  12 rebounds for the Sixers.

New Orleans Pelicans defeated the San Antonio Spurs 117-99 in their NBA clash. Zion Williamson led the scoring with 30 points and 15 rebounds, as Jonas Valanciunas scored 21 points and 11 rebounds. Darius Vassell scored 25 points for the Spurs.

Utah Jazz claimed a 139-119 win over the Indiana Pacers in their NBA meeting on Friday. Lauri Markkanen scored 24 points and 13 rebounds, and Walker Kessler scored 20 points and 11 rebounds. Myles Turner scored 18 points for the Pacers.

Houston Rockets claimed a 122-121 win over the Phoenix Suns for only their sixth win of the season. Jalen Green scored 30 points for the Rockets as Jabari Smith Jr contributed 17 points in the game. Devin Booker scored 41 points for the Suns.

Golden State Warriors claimed a 119-111 win over the Chicago Bulls in their NBA encounter. Jordan Poole led the scoring with 30 points as Klay Thompson contributed 26 points. Nikola Vucevic scored 23 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls.
