NBA Recap: Lakers lose first game in six as Bucks defeat Knicks

Grizzlies, Celtics, Kings all secure wins

Los Angeles Lakers tasted their first defeat in six games as the Denver Nuggets claimed a 122-109 win in their NBA clash on Monday. Jamal Murray led the scoring with 34 points and Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists. Russell Westbrook scored 25 points for the Lakers in the game.

Milwaukee Bucks defeated the New York Knicks 111-107 in their NBA clash on Monday to improve to 26-14 this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 22 points and ten rebounds, and Brook Lopez scored 17 points. Jalen Brunson scored 44 points for the Knicks in the game.

Boston Celtics improved to 29-12 after their 107-99 win over the Chicago Bulls. Jayson Tatum scored 32 points and Grant Williams scored 20 points for the Celtics. Zach LaVine scored 27 points for the Bulls.

Memphis Grizzlies claimed a 121-113 win over the San Antonio Spurs for their 27th win in the NBA. Tyus Jones scored 24 points and Jaren Jackson Jr scored 16 points for the Grizzlies. Tre Jones scored 18 points for the Spurs in the game.

Sacramento Kings picked up a 136-111 win over the Orlando Magic. Harrison Barnes scored 30 points and Keegan Murray scored 15 points for the Kings. Paolo Banchero scored 17 points for the Magic in the game.

New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Washington Wizards 132-112 in their NBA clash. CJ McCollum scored 34 points and Jonas Valanciunas added 27 points and 12 rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis recorded 23 points and ten rebounds in the game for the Wizards.
