NBA Recap: Suns, Timberwolves, Nuggets all win

Bucks, Pelicans, Magic, 76ers also win

The Phoenix Suns were without their All-Star backcourt of Devin Booker and Chris Paul but managed to secure a 115-114 win over the New York Knicks for their 51st win of the season.

Cam Johnson took centre stage in the encounter with 38 points for the Suns, and Miles Bridges also contributed 20 points in the game. Cameron Payne tallied 17 points for the Western Conference leaders.

The Denver Nuggets managed a 116-101 win over the Houston Rockets despite the absence of MVP Nikola Jokic. DeMarcus Cousins contributed 31 points for the Nuggets in the clash and Christian Wood scored 22 for the Rockets.

The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 138-101 in their NBA clash on Friday. Karl-Anthony Towns and Naz Reid scored 20 points apiece for the Timberwolves in the win.

The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Utah Jazz 124-90. Brandon Ingram scored 29 points and CJ McCollum contributed 24 points for the Pelicans in the win.

Orlando Magic ended a nine-game losing run against the Toronto Raptors with a 103-97 win in the NBA on Friday. Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs contributed 15 points each, and Mo Bamba recorded 14 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks picked up a credible 118-112 win over fellow Eastern Conference big shot, Chicago Bulls, in their NBA clash on Friday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the scoring with 34 points and 16 rebounds, and Jrue Holiday contributed 26 points.

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Washington Wizards 117-114 in the NBA on Friday. DeAndre Hunter led the scoring for the Hawks with 26 points, and Trae Young recorded 25 points for the Hawks, as well.

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 125-119 in their clash on Sunday. Tyrese Maxey led the scoring for the 76ers with 33 points, and James Harden and Joel Embiid contributed 25 and 22 points, respectively.

The Detroit Pistons defeated the Indiana Pacers 111-106 in the NBA. Saddiq Bey and Cade Cunningham contributed 25 and 20 points, respectively, for the Detroit Pistons.
