NBA Results: Thompson, Curry fire Warriors to win as Kings defeat Lakers

Klay Thompson became the NBA player with the tenth most three pointers made in history as he helped the Golden State Warriors claim a 106-95 win over the Houston Rockets. He recorded his 2,222nd three-pointer en route to finishing with 19 points, and Steph Curry scored 24 points. Jalen Green scored 21 points for the Rockets.

Sacramento Kings claimed a 132-127 OT win over the Los Angeles Lakers in their NBA clash. DeAaron Fox scored 37 points and Malik Monk scored 22 points for the Kings. Anthony Davis finished with 30 points and 16 rebounds for the Lakers.

Champions Denver Nuggets claimed a 128-95 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Nikola Jokic led the scoring with 28 points and 14 rebounds, and Michael Porter Jr recorded 20 points. Chet Holmgren scored 19 points for the Thunder.

Atlanta Hawks picked up their first win of the season with a 127-110 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Trae Young recorded 20 points and 11 assists, and Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 17 points for the Hawks. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Bucks.

Philadelphia 76ers claimed a 126-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in their NBA meeting. Joel Embiid scored 35 points and 15 rebounds, and Tyrese Maxey scored 26 points and ten rebounds. Shaedon Sharpe scored 20 points for Portland.

Los Angeles Clippers claimed a 123-83 win over the San Antonio Spurs to pick up their second win of the season. Kawhi Leonard scored 21 points, and Paul George and Russell Westbrook each scored 19 points for the Clippers. Devin Vassell scored 14 points for the Spurs.
