NBA Round Up: Spurs beat OKC to end slump, Raptors win in OT
The San Antonio Spurs ended a run of back-to-back defeats by beating the Oklahoma City Thunder, while the Toronto Raptors outlasted the New Orleans Pelicans in overtime.
NBA All-Star Kawhi Leonard starred as the Spurs trumped the Thunder 108-94 on Tuesday.
Kyle Lowry led the rallying Raptors to a 108-106 win over the Pelicans in Toronto.
James Harden was limited but the Houston Rockets still defeated the Sacramento Kings 105-83.
SPURS SILENCE WESTBROOK AS POPOVICH CLOSES IN ON RECORD
Russell Westbrook scored 27 points and had 14 assists, however the Thunder guard was held scoreless in the final period.
Leonard posted 36 points as head coach Gregg Popovich claimed his 1,126th career victory.
Popovich is now within one game of the league’s record for most wins with a single franchise, which is held by Utah’s Jerry Sloan.
LOWRY INSPIRES COMEBACK
Trailing by 14 points at half-time and without star DeMar DeRozan, Lowry stepped up in a big way.
Lowry had 33 points and 10 assists, including the game-winning basket with 4.3 seconds remaining.
ANDERSON, GORDON STAR
Harden only recorded 10 points, seven rebounds and eight assists but his team-mates starred.
Ryan Anderson (25 points, 11 rebounds) had a double-double and Eric Gordon added 17 points for the Rockets.

WIZARDS, TRAIL BLAZERS WIN
Bradley Beal guided the Washington Wizards past the New York Knicks 117-101, the Charlotte Hornets lost 115-98 to the Portland Trail Blazers, while the Los Angeles Lakers edged the Denver Nuggets 120-116.
WARRIORS AND CAVS HEADLINE ACTS
The Golden State Warriors host the Hornets on Wednesday, while reigning champions the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Thunder are at home to the Chicago Bulls among the other games.
