NBA All Stars: So far, so good!

Few hours into the moment we are all have been waiting for when the West take on the East in the NBA all Stars at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

You could say it’s been a weekend where the favourites of various events have choked.

Klay who beat his splash brother Curry to 3-point contest last season would have been many favourites to win the contest again this time out but the Warriors shooting guard failed to make it to the final stages as Rockets’ Gordon took the price.

In the dunk contest many would have their money last season’s finalist Gordon but Indiana Pacers guard Glenn Robinson III won the 2017 NBA All-Star slam-dunk contest with an emphatic display on Saturday.

Robinson toppled Jones, a little-known Suns forward, in the final.

Gordon, last year’s star, looked sluggish while failing on most of his dunk attempts.

We all know Curry is synonymous to half court shots, the unanimous MVP would sink a half court easily even in the face of competition but “the chef” failed to make one of many of his attempts at the all Stars game.

With the arrays of Super Stars the West will parade one would easily give them the go when the face the East Super Stars but with the trend of things in the all Stars so far it wouldn’t be surprising if the also lose.
