NFF Appoints Manu Garba and Moses Aduku as New Coaches for Golden Eaglets and Falconets
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have approved the appointment of Manu Garba as the new head coach of the Golden Eaglets (U17 Boys) and Moses Aduku as the new head coach of the Falconets (U20 Girls).

Garba, an experienced coach, returns to lead the Golden Eaglets. He famously guided the team to win the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2013 in the United Arab Emirates. He has also managed the team on two other occasions, including qualifying them for the 2019 U17 World Cup in Brazil.

Aduku takes over the Falconets job from Chris Danjuma. He is well known in women’s football and has coached top clubs like Bayelsa Queens and Edo Queens. Aduku also served as assistant coach of the Falconets when they reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica in 2022.
Both coaches will officially begin their duties on Sunday, as they prepare for important matches.
The Falconets will face Rwanda in a 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier in September. The Golden Eaglets will compete in the WAFU B U17 Boys Tournament, which Nigeria will host in the same month.
