NFF Sacks Nduka Ugbade

The coach of Nigeria U-17 men’s team, the Golden Eaglets have been sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation after his team failed to qualify for 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

According to Brila, the former Golden Eaglets captain appointment was tied to the progress of his team to the world cup and having failed, the NFF asked him to leave the post.

Recall, Nigeria lost 2-1 to Burkina Faso U-17 in the AFCON U-17 quarterfinal thereby missing out on the ticket to the world cup and also semifinal at the ongoing competition in Algeria.

Both Nduka Ugbade and his assistants have been reportedly sacked.

The Golden Eaglets played four games at the AFCON U-17, lost two and won two.
