Niger Flickers travel to Kenya for 2018 ACCC

One of Nigeria’s representatives in the men category at the 2018 Africa Cup for Club Champions, Niger Flickers have left Nigeria for Nairobi, Kenya.

The three time Nigerian Super League champions fully loaded left the shores of Nigeria for Kenya where they will prepare for the forthcoming competition scheduled for Abuja this December.

The team is an improved version of the one that represented Niger Flickers at the 2018 Super League where they lost the crown to Kada Stars of Kadanu.

Two players from Yobe Desert Rollers, Michael Agbaegbu and Oghenevo Nova Umukoro, Sunday Oguruku from Stallions and Wale Ojo from Delta Force who joined on loan were among the final 18 that will be flying Niger Flickers flag.

Niger Flickers who are the last Nigerian male club to finish on the podium with feat in 2016, will be looking for another place on the podium this time around when the competition is hosted in Nigeria.

The National Stadium in Abuja is the venue of the 2018 Africa Cup for Club Champions and it is scheduled to start from December 15th to December 23rd.

Nigeria will be represented by Kada Stars and Niger Flickers in men’s category and Kada Queens and Delta Queens in the women’s category.
