Nigeria and Mexico set up friendly game for May in the US

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the El Tri of Mexico in an international friendly game at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas.

Nigeria will be playing against Mexico for the fifth time in a friendly game having failed to win any of the past four meetings.

Mexico have had the upper hand, winning one and playing score draw in the remaining three games, but Nigeria will be hoping to get a win this time.

According to the release on the Nigeria Football Federation social media platform, the game will be played on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas.

While Nigeria will be missing out on the 2022 World Cup, Mexico have been drawn into a tough group alongside Argentina, Poland, and Saudi Arabia.

The CHAN Eagles represented Nigeria at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles the last time the two nations met.
