Nigeria Beat Malawi by Nine Wickets in Strong T20 World Cup Qualifier Start

Nigeria began their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier campaign in style on Friday, beating Malawi by nine wickets in Harare.
The Yellow Greens were brilliant with the ball, keeping Malawi’s batting side to a low score.
Ridwan Kareem was named Player of the Match after taking 3 wickets for 24 runs. He was well supported by Emmanuel Udekwe (2/11) and Prosper Useni (1/4), as Nigeria bowled tightly and put pressure on the Malawian batters.
In reply, Nigeria chased down the target easily.
Sulaimon Runsewe led the way with a solid 51 not out from 44 balls, while Salau Selim hit a quick 26 runs, and Adedeji Sesan finished the job with 12 not out.
Nigeria reached the target in just 11.3 overs, sending a strong warning to their opponents in the race for T20 World Cup qualification.
