Nigeria drawn in group C alongside CAR, Liberia and Cape Verde

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in group C alongside Central African Republic, Liberia and Cape Verde.

The race for the African teams to fight for the slots for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar has begun with the second round qualifying draws.

The first round of games will be played on October 5th 2020 as the Eagles push to get a slot out of the five slots for the African teams.

All the countries who qualified for the 2nd round have been grouped into 10, from A to J.

Just like the 2014 format, the winners of each group will be involved in a play-off games to determine the final five to represent Africa at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
