Nigeria ranked third best African team in Latest FIFA Rankings

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been ranked the third best African team in the latest FIFA Rankings released today.

Nigeria who failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup have improved in the latest rankings now 30th in the world and 3rd in Africa.

Brazil have taken the top spot from Belgium after an impressive run toward World Cup Qualifiers.

20. Senegal
24. Morocco
30. Nigeria
32. Egypt
35. Tunisia
37. Cameroon
44. Algeria
52. Mali
53. Cote d’Ivore
56. Burkina Faso
60. Ghana

Of all the nations ranked in the top 5 in Africa, only three are going to make it to represent Africa at the world cup.

Nigeria super Eagles needed to be among the best teams representing African continent, rather than Tunisia who never qualifies for the second round in world cups held up before
